Click HERE for all course descriptions . . . FR102 (a) - MWF 1.15p-1.45p ET (9 Jan - 29 Apr) FR102 (b) - MWF 7.15a-7.45a ET (9 Jan - 29 Apr) A student’s typical 2nd semester of college-level French. Prerequisite: Basic French I. Several live meet up sessions available during the registration process. If registering for FR102, please indicate your section preference (a) or (b), but also indicate whether the alternative section would still be workable for you. Depending on enrollment, we may be able to run only one of these sections. FR201 Accelerated - MTWRF - 2.10p-2.45p ET (8 Jan - 4 Mar) A student’s typical 3rd semester of college-level French, this course provides intensive work in all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Study includes both review and expansion of grammar and phonetics foundational to oral and written communication, along with substantial engagement with French culture, target-language materials, and scripture. Taught in French as much as possible. Prerequisite: Basic French II or equivalent. FR202 Accelerated - MTWRF - 2.10p-2.45p ET (12 Mar - 6 May) A student’s typical 4th semester of college-level French, this course emphasizes the fundamentals of French while providing intensive work in all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students apply these skills through substantial engagement with French culture, target-language materials, and scripture. Taught in French. Prerequisite: FR201 or equivalent. FR305 - TR - Francophone World 5.30p-6.15p ET (8 Jan - 28 Apr)  (with optional asynchronous English track available) *English Track available for students in related studies such as Intercultural, Intl Affairs, History, Intl Business, Missions, Francophone Studies, etc. This course surveys the 88 countries and regions of the Francophone world, exploring the diverse histories, cultures, sensitivities and societal distinctives that bind this world together as a unique entity. Distinctives include the major highlights of each country and region in culture, politics, economics, philosophy, business, science, and the arts. Any student contemplating an international vision will find great value and insight from this course, regardless of academic Major. Taught online in French with live online French discussions. Asynchronous English track also available.
